🧾 Ingredients
500 g (1 lb) chicken thighs or breasts
2 tbsp plain Greek yogurt
1½ tbsp ground sumac
1 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp paprika (optional)
Juice of ½ lemon
Fresh parsley (for garnish)
👩🍳 Instructions
Make the marinade
In a bowl, mix yogurt, sumac, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and paprika.
Marinate the chicken
Coat the chicken well and let it rest for 30 minutes (or up to overnight for deeper flavor).
Cook
Oven: Bake at 200°C / 400°F for 25–30 minutes
Pan: Cook on medium heat 6–7 minutes per side
Grill: Grill until golden and fully cooked
Serve
Garnish with fresh parsley and an extra sprinkle of sumac.
